This was one of the most fun tanks to build, it actually started its life as a light tractor for airborne troops.
It was meant to be dropped from Junkers Ju 52 aircraft, though not by parachute. It was also the lightest and smallest mass-produced German military vehicle to use the complex Schachtellaufwerk overlapped and interleaved road wheels, which is a super complicated but effective wheel design.
We did our best to keep this Kettenkrad minifigure scale so that it will look good next to your German soldiers, Also we hope you enjoy building our Kettenkrad design!
