WW2 Standard Canadian Army Soldier.
When you think of WW2 you probably think of Germany, America, Britain, Russia, or Japan, and not Canada, however Canada had a important roll to play in WW2, they fought back the Germans in Africa, and participated in the invasion of France on D-day and went on to push into Germany in the later stages of the war.
In all, some 1.1 million Canadians served in the Army that consisted of the (standard army) (air force) and the (navy) out of a population that as of 1941 had 11,506,655 people. Out of 1.1 Million men their were 242.000 thousand that were in the standard army alone.
We hope that you enjoy these awesome Canadian soldiers!
